Chapter 1. Prologue
“How is this mortal different from those whom I have encountered?”
For the first time, he is throwing such kind of question to himself.
It’s neither his first time to see an attractive mortal or have sex with them. He already tasted a lot of pretty mortals . He’s been with Arella during his journey towards the island, but she did not feel such strong sexual attraction to her.
His eyes are set on the beautiful face of the girl. That girl is giving her strange emotion, elevating his heartbeat, and arousing every vein on his body. His sight travelled from the lady’s closed eyes to her nose, cheeks, lips, neck, and to her curvaceous body.
“Shit!” he gasped, run his fingers through his hair, and looked back to the girl.
“Her quite long eyelashes are curled beautifully. I can’t wait to see her open his eyes. Her pointed nose fits the shape of her face. Her cheeks are… Fuck!” He squeezed his fist together trying to control himself from touching the woman as she moved hysterically around the room, confused on the reaction of his body. The temperature is getting hotter that he even question how on earth a sleeping, powerless, and vulnerable mortal can cause such thing.
He again went near the sleeping woman, then his eyes are set on her half-opened lips. Her lips are so alluring. He remembered what he watched on the television about two opposite sexes kissing each other.
Out of control, he went too close to the sleeping beauty, bent as his face voluntarily went in a very close proximity to the lady’s face while his eyes are locked on her lips. His lips then touched her soft lips with a little bit of pressure. His manhood was aroused but before he could totally be devoured by his devilish side, the woman’s closed eyes moved so he immediately pulled his lips away from hers and hide. Luckily, the lady simply changed her position and continued sleeping.
Belial went near the girl and gazed at the beautiful living scenery.
“There is one thing that you should avoid. If you’ll do this, you will be like mortals who will not live eternally. Do not fall in love to mortals. You can only treat them as food, sex objects, or slaves… If this would happen, I will instruct all demons to kill you. Even I, myself, will hunt you and brutally kill you in front of those mortals.” These words of Thanatos, his father, echoed to his memory, then he smiled coldly.
“Well, this stunning mortal would only be my sex object while I am in this place.” He devilishly thought. However, he knows that he must be very careful because his mission to demolish the left tribe is just getting started.

“This was not the only time when the book of Thanatos was reopened. This happened during the first kingdom on Earth. The palace was located right in this place, protected by the gods of heaven. A low-class maid, who have fallen in love to the king, was tricked by the spirit of Thanatos who was hovering outside the palace. The maid has successfully taken the book away from the protected area. Because of that, hell main gate was unsealed and the first demonic havoc that nearly demolished the whole mortals have started.” The old historian narrated.
“How did they seal the entrance of hell again?” A student asked.
“There was a prophesy that the God Arda have released. The prophesy says, it was through love that the gateway of hell was unsealed. It was then through love that it can be reopened. Thanatos have fallen in love with the king’s princess and have her pregnant. No one knows how the princess convinced Thanatos to close the door of hell, but one day, the chaos has unexpected ended. The princess is nowhere to be found so it was believed to have been with Thanatos in hell, with their child.” The historian continued.
Upon hearing that, Belial realized that there are a lot of things that he does not know about himself. In some of his dreams, he could see a beautiful and lovely lady who is playing with him, holding his hands, carrying, and swaying him softly. Her giggle seems so real that it brings him peace and joy. However, he always ignores that dream because he has no idea who that girl is.
Is it true that he was formed by Thanatos alone or could it be that his dream is a memory that he has with her mother? But why did his dad hide the identify of her mother to him? Is that story a mere myth or did it happen? Is he the son of Thanatos and the princess?
A lot of questions bothered Belial by that time on.

When Belial heard the story about his father, he became cold to Gwyneth, the lady he was flirting with. No matter how Gwyneth tries to lure Belial back to her, he always resists and avoids her.
Belial has been within the island for about a year. He fully won the trust of the leader because he helped them to device tools to immediately eliminate demons. Also, his intelligence became his main and strong qualification, so he became one of those with the highest positions in the tribe.
His initial plans are successfully executed. But… will he successfully drag the tribe down and go back to Thanatos or can he betray his father for the tribe? Will he successfully demolish his feeling to Gwyneth and be evil all through out or will his mortal side drag him to help save the world of mortals? Did he totally decide not to know his whole identity, or did he find out who her mother was?
What would be the future of the world of mortals? Would mortals totally turn as foods for demons, slaves, and sex objects or would they successfully close the door of hell again? Would demons successfully turn over the Earth?
If it is through love that they can close again the door of hell, does it mean that Thanatos will fall in love with a mortal again? Is there’s a chance for mortals to gain their peaceful world? If there is, will mortals be the same as before?
