Bailey's pov
"So Tiana...you'll be cleaning down the hall nearby the game rooms," Alisha instructed. "Clean the vases there and you may also go into the game rooms to dust off the TVs or pool tables. Got it?
"Yes Alisha," said Tiana before she rushed out and into the many hallways. I looked back to Alisha.
"And you Bailey. You'll be cleaning the hallways near the bedrooms of the royals. Don't go into their rooms though. It's locked anyways though," ordered Alisha. I knew that. Only certain maids during once in a while would be allowed to quickly clean up the King, Queen, or Prince's bedrooms. "You'll be vacuuming the carpet and dust off the ceiling, the portraits, and some small tables that are in the hallways. Ok? And remember, if you see any Royal, don't try to talk to them unless they say something to you."
I grimaced. I'm really hoping to not see any of them. They would probably intimidate me really bad. The thing is, there could be a good chance that they would need to stop by their rooms or something. I hope not though.
"Ok Alisha," I responded before walking out and towards the stairways. The bedrooms of the royal family was on the third floor so I had to go up an amount of stair before reaching it.
Once I got there, huffing tiredly from the hard trek, I walked over to the hallways. It was a really long hallway and it seemed like I was the only maid up here. Guess I'll be doing this job all alone. I'm probably going to be dead tired after all this. I sighed as I walked to the end of the long long hallway to see the Queen's and King's bedroom as the last one. The next one was the Prince's. I'll be starting here then...
I walked over to the small table with a picture of a lake on top of it. It was next to the doors so I started on dusting off the dirt with the duster that I grabbed earlier. After finishing the table in 15 minutes, I took some tissue and wiped the pretty picture of a lake clean. It took another 15 minutes. When that was done, I went all over the same routine. Dust all the tables, wipe the pictures. Dust the tables, wipe the pictures.....There were so many tables and pictures though. There was at least ten tables and at least 20 pictures. There were all sorts of pictures too. It was pretty interesting. At least that was there because I would've been bored out of my mind. There were pictures of old Kings and Queens, animals, nature, food, and pictures of stuff, stuff, and more stuff.... Yeah, I know. That's really descriptive. Sorry. After all of that cleaning, I found a vacuum and got the floor to be cleaned.
Four hours passed by of pure exhaustion, so I slumped down next to a table and leaned against a wall. It was about nine right now and I should really go home, but I couldn't even pull myself up....I was that tired. Every muscle in my body was aching. Maybe just a five minute break of resting. It wasn't not my fault. Alisha should've had another maid come up here to help me. Cleaning all of this whole entire hallway had killed me.....

"Well, well, well. Look who's here," a deep voice muttered. I heard it and my eyes flipped open with surprisement.
"Aah!" I yelped as I flinched. I bumped my head into the table. "Ow!" Where was I? Why am I sleeping next to a table? Who's voice is that?
"Calm down lady," the voice said again. I squinted at the light and lifted my heads up. There, stood a tall guy at around six foot tall. He had dark brown hair that looked perfect and green emerald eyes. He wore a button shirt with black pants. For some reason, he looked even more handsome right then in real life than on the TV. I was speechless. My worst nightmare had came true. I just met one of the royals.... It's the prince. I gulped. I then remembered everything, how I accidentally slept when I was so tired...
"Fuck!" I shouted out. Whoops. I just swore in front of the prince, but I didn't care at that moment. "What time is it!?"
He looked taken back as if nobody has ever treated him like that. A that's because nobody has....he's the prince. Well, I guess I was the first...How lucky. "Uh...its 10:00?" he answered, looking confused.
I jumped up from the ground. "Please excuse me your highness. Um...I... accidentally fell asleep after finishing my work. I must go home," I mumbled awkwardly to him. He raised his eyebrows and his eyes scanned me.
"What's your name cutie?" he asked. After blinking blankly at him I gritted my teeth. What kind of question is that? And calling me a cutie? I had a feeling that he might be douche bag. Wait, I shouldn't just judge him like that already. He was the prince anyhow.
"I'm not a cutie and nobody told you that you can call me that," I said as I tried to control my anger. I scowled at him. I guess I have temper issues. I hope I don't blow up in front of the Prince. I might get kicked out from his kingdom. I don't know....it could happen?
He raised his eyebrows, and then smirked. What kind of prince is this? "Then you gotta tell me your name?"
"Why would you need my name for? It's not like we'll ever see each other again," I scoffed. I never had ever imagined that I would dare to argue with a prince. I can't help it though, this dude is literally pissing me off.
"So what? I can't learn the name of a really pretty maid that I just met today?" he said with an arrogant smile. The nerve of this guy...prince.... I couldn't help but blush a little though. The prince just complimented to me after all. But he probably did that to everyone.
"You don't make any sense. But if you must know, your highness, my name is Bailey," I said crossly. After that, I walked away and down the stairs. I drove home, annoyed. I got ready for bed, annoyed. I tried to go to sleep, annoyed.
I was hoping to never meet any of the Royals. But apparently life hates me, because I had just met the most arrogant Prince ever.
